Description
This RCA 67 QR 77, Beautiful Wood Table Top Broadcast & Short Wave Receiver, was made in West Germany.
It was built in the late 1950's
This one is in Excellent Condition and super clean. The speaker cloth and cabinet look fantastic.
The receiver has a "Magic Eye" tuning tube, and all the push buttons are working and look new.
It is stunning to fine one in this condition. There are only a few small marks and no need for cosmetic restoration.
I did power up this radio and it received signals on the broadcast bands. I did not use it long as it still have the old original electrolytic capacitors which should be updated to new ones.
As with most vintage gear, it may be improved with new tubes and alignment.
This radio is fairly large but not obnoxiously so, It is about 23 inches wide, 15 inches high, and 10 inches deep.
It is surprisingly light weight for the size.
This would have been the center piece of the room it was in.
I am selling it as is as described for the family of a silent key who was my friend.
