ETO Alpha 374A HF Linear Amplifier 10-160 meters with No Tune and Manual Tuning System in Collector Quality Condition

  It is a late Serial Number 7086 and is beautiful condition with no bad marks or scratches on the front face plate. There are just a couple very light marks on one side of the cabinet that are hard to see.

  Inside This one is super clean.

 This Amp is part of a silent key’s collection I am selling. This Amplifier was purchased by him in the 1990s and has been stored unused in a controlled environment since then.

  The Alpha PA-78, and 374A  are Known as one of the best Amateur Linear amplifiers made.

This 374A is built on the same platform as the PA-78 and has two tubes rather than three, and has the same no tune option positions on the band switch.

   The band switch is a Radio Switch type with Coin Silver button style contacts which is the best.

The Blower is super quiet. Be sure to remove the two screws on the back panel which stabilize the blower motor during shipment.

  I tested this amplifier on my bench on all bands and it works great with no apparent problems.

It appears to have full output tubes. It puts out about 1000 watts and all bands.

 Both the manual and no tune band positions performed very well. Depending on where in the band you are operating, there may be a slight reduction in output power using the no tune segments on the band switch.
