 The Microphone is actually made for Clegg by Astatic, and the Astatic Model number is 527.

The 80MC2M Connector is used by Clegg, Collins Heath, Hallicrafters, EF Johnson, and many others in that era.

 This 527 model is not to be confused with the Astatic 527 Trucker II which is an amplified CB Noise canceling Microphone. This one is not amplified and is a HiZ Mic for vintage gear.
