Description

This Collins 75S-1 HF Receiver has a CW Filter installed and is in Excellent Condition.

Serial Number 1361

The cabinet has the original paint and finish. and the front panel is very clean.

This receiver was service by Communications Sales & Service of New Jersey and has a service tag on the back panel to that affect.

I am not sure what model filter is installed but it is a narrow filter and seems to work very well.

This is a great receiver to get started with that is resonablly priced and simple to service.

I tested this receiver on the air and it appears to be working very well with excellent receive sensitivity on the bands I tested it on.

As with most vintage gear it may be improved with an alignment or tube replacement.

It also has the original electrolytic capacitors so it would be prudent to upgrade them to new modern capacitors.

I offer a complete capacitor kit in my other listings under Collins Capacitors.

I am selling this receiver as is, as described for the family of a silent key who was my friend.
