This Rockwell Collins AC-2818 Lightning Arrester, was Sold as an Accessory for the KWM-380 New in Box.
It is actually made by Hy-Gain and was also known as the LA-1.
Because the KWM-380 is a solid state rig, Collins recommended a lightning arrester be used with it.
It is a very rare accessory for the KWM-380 and HF-380 but is useful for any radio with an outdoor antenna.
