Description

This EF Johnson Viking II Electrolytic Capacitor Replacement Kit will make restoring your Johnson Viking II with safe modern capacitors, very easy!

This kit includes one 15/15 mfd 450 VDC Dual section capacitor and a 15/15 mfd 150 VDC Dual section capacitor complete with mounting clamps.

It is necessary for these custom made capacitors to fit in the same spot as the original capacitors because there not much room to put in multiple components. They all have color coded wires to make the replacement easy and straight forward even if you are not experienced in restoration work.

A Data sheet is also included so you can look at the individual part designator in your manual for proper placement.

These custom made capacitors will allow you to put the proper value capacitors in the limited space and make your restoration neat and professional.

The other 10 capacitors are modern capacitors which are also important to change to assure safe operation and optimum performance.

Do not wait till one of your capacitors fail as this could damage other components or the main transformer which would be very hard to find costly to replace.

You will be able to operate your vintage Johnson Viking II, with confidence after this capacitor kit is installed.

Many have reported to me that they see better performance from their radio after these kits are installed. Apparently, even though the original capacitors test okay, they me be leaky under load and will degrade the performance of your transmitter.

You can shop around and order individual capacitors but this kit provides the custom built multi section capacitors which are not available. I also have Capacitor kits available for most Collins S-line Receivers and transmitters, as well as the 75A-4 and 75A-2 and the Johnson Ranger and Valiant.
