Description
This Sepanian Precision Single Section Air Variable Capacitor is of the highest quality. The Specifications indicate 8 to 43 pf for each section. It actually maxes out at 48 pF.
The voltage rating is 1200 V rms max.
The part number is OHR-2
This Capacitor has a built in 8:1 Planetary Reduction Drive which makes it a very precise tuning capacitor with no backlash or slip.
The shaft on this unit is 15/16 inch long.
The full dimensions are, 2 3/16 inches long, 1 3/8 wide, and 1 1/4 high not counting the solder tabs.
The mounting holes on the bottom are drilled and tapped for screws, the other mounting holes are not tapped with threads.
I have several units as they were to be used in a commercial radio project that never went into production.
They were very expensive to have made and I am selling them at a surplus price.
