Description

This Aircraft Radio Corp 4601 Air Variable Capacitor has 3, 174 pF Sections (total 522 pF) with a 2:1 Drive. It is New in the Original Box.

It is listed as a Cessna Aircraft Co. Part for some radio gear.

 This is a very cool air variable capacitor. It has a spline shaft but I am including a 1/4 to 1/4 inch coupler so it can be used with a standard 1/4 inch shaft.

 The 2:1 drive gears makes it tune very smooth and accurate. It also has a couple trimmer sections along side of the three main sections.

 The sections can be wired together for a total capacitance of 522 pF. Each section has a small terminal which I have a close up picture of.

 This compact capacitor has mounting flanges.
