This Astatic WR-40 1950s Vintage Crystal Microphone has No Element inside, Just the Outer Shell and F-11 stand adapter.

this Microphone was nicknamed the "Iron Mask"

 

It is in in Very Good Condition. the front, Top and sides are excellent and there is a small amount of patina on the back side only.

 Put an element in this mic and it will look great on the desk or use this body to rebuild a WR-40 if it is not as nice as this unit.

 

Please note the Stand in the picture is not included and is for demonstration only.

 

I do have a few of these stands available in my listings.

 

I am selling it as is as described for the family of a silent key who was a collector of fine vintage gear.
