This Collins 30L-1 Cabinet Reproduction with Trim Ring, Feet, Risers. & SS Hardware, looks just like the original!

This beautiful reproduction has the original baked on enamel finish that matches the original made by Collins.

We had this product made by a USA company in the aero space industry, that manufactures parts for the aircraft industry. A state of the art computerized Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) was used to configure the cabinet so that the construction of this cabinet will look and fit just like the original.

This cabinet is made with Aluminum like the originals, but is made with 6061 T6 aluminum, which is not as soft as the original Collins cabinets which will bend, dent and distort very easy if you are not careful.

This reproduction will not bend as easy as the originals as it is much stronger. The Paint we used on this reproduction, is baked on enamel paint on both the cabinet and the Aluminum trim ring.

It is matched to the original Collins paint formula, with the same finish so it will match your Collins S-Line gear.

The aero space Company that does the paint on this item as well as all painted S-Line items we sell, is one of the companies that paint aluminum aircraft so they know how to properly prepare the surface, and paint Aluminum products!

It has an Aluminum Trim Ring, and aluminum Risers.

Please note that while the 30L-1 Aftermarket cabinet is of the highest quality and matches the original, there are a few points to mention.

The fit and finish is very close with baked on enamel paint. The trim rings are also nearly an exact reproduction however the fit is very tight for the face plate to clear the trim ring.

The face plate will fit but may cause some light scratches when installed. This is because while the paint thickness was accounted for in the final production, the primer and blocking were not so it is a tight fit and takes some effort to install.

One fix to this problem, is cutting the plate on the bottom through to allow the trim ring to expand. When the front feet and risers are installed, it will hold the bottom seam together and you do not notice it has been cut.

I have only a limited number of these cabinets available!  The the inside trim ring counter sunk screws are also included.

I am selling them as is as described. I do not have many left so this is really the only available option for a 30L-1 Cabinet that looks original.
