Description

This Collins 30L-1 Round Emblem HF Linear Amplifier, is in Excellent Cosmetic Condition.

It is a very Late Serial Number 42278

The Cabinet is a brand New, Reproduction Cabinet, and has a metal trim ring.

The beautiful front panel has no marks, scratches, or dings.

The AC cord is like new and the amplifier is wired for 120 VAC  which can be changed to 240 VAC if desired.

This amplifier has been stored for a few decades unused, and it looks like it has not been used much at all.

I tested this amplifier and powered up with a variac and from what I remember, it had signs of a bad power supply board so it may at least need a replacement power supply board but I am not sure. I do not work on Amplifiers, I only test them.

There are aftermarket units available that are better than original and are not very expensive.

It is well worth the effort to service this amp with a new power supply board as it is in really beautiful condition.

There are no 811A tubes with this amplifier as I do not have any in stock.

I am selling this vintage Amplifier as is, as described, for repair.

I will also include a reproduction of the manual.

I am very proficient packing heavy vintage gear so it will be packed properly to avoid and damage. This is no easy task and requires purchasing the correct shipping cartons, and years of experience.

The shipping quote is an average estimate and if the shipping comes out to be less I will refund the difference.
