Collins 75A-4 Vintage SSB / AM / CW Receiver with 4-1 Dial in Excellent Cosmetic Condition

This Collins 75A-4 Vintage SSB / AM / CW Receiver with 4-1 Dial, is in Excellent Cosmetic Condition! S/N 989 

 It has the optional; 4:1 reduction drive tuning control, and comes with the F 455J-31 3.1 SSB Filter, the F455J-08 .8 KC CW Filter and a F 455 FA 21  2.1 KC Narrow S-Line SSB Filter has been adapted to fit into the 75A-4 Slot.

 I normally remove filter conversions but this one seems to work pretty well so I left it in

The front face and cabinet have no bad marks or scratches.

  I recently tested this receiver on the air and it appears to be working on all band except for 15 & 11 Meters.

It is likely two of the silver mica capacitors in the Band Crystal circuit, or it could be the band switch needs to be cleaned with a contact cleaner as I did not do that.

 There is one modification on the rear panel. An RCA connector has been installed just under the speaker terminal strip and appears to be a pic for a scope of pan adapter.

lt has the original electrolytic capacitors, so it should have the electrolytic capacitors replaced. I do sell capacitor replacement kits and will sell one for a discount to the buyer of this receiver.

This is indeed a nice 75A-4 Receiver! I am selling this Vintage Collins Receiver as is, as described.Also included is a commercial Reproduction of the manual with all of the service and alignment information. As with most vintage gear, it may benefit with an alignment but seems to work fine as it is with the exception of 15 & 11 meters.

 I am selling this receiver for a client who is down sizeing due to him having to move.
