Collins 75S-3B Winged Emblem Receiver with Optional INRAD .300 & .500 KC Filters with 2 Optional 10 Meter Crystals in Excellent Condition

 This Collins 75S-3B Receiver, is serial number 16333.   It is in excellent Condition,

This Radio is absolutely beautiful with no bad marks or scratches, The front panel is also nice. Everything appears to be original. It has the original paint and finish.

 This receiver has a metal trim ring which is desirable as it will not "yellow" with age as the ABS plastic trim rings will do.

It has original Collins feet and front risers.

 It is rare these days to find a 75S-3B in this nice "Collector Quality" condition.

The receiver comes with a Power cord and I will provide a reproduction of the manual. I also have a variety of Original Collins manuals on my web site.

There are  two optional INRAD  filters installed (the .300 & .500 KC CW filters) as well as the standard SSB Filter. It has all the factory installed Crystals plus the two optional 10 meter crystals.

The INRAD filters use newer modern  Rockwell Collins Mechanical Filters which perform better than the ageing originals.

 This receiver appears to be all original with the factory electrolytic capacitors.

 I offer a capacitor rebuild kit for this receiver in my other listings.

I am very proficient packing this type of heavy vintage radio gear. The unit will be double boxed and professionally packed to a degree you can not get from normal packing facilities.

 I am selling it as is, as described for a friend who only collects the finest Collins Gear, and is downsizing to make room for more gear!

The Collins 75S-3B is a high quality amateur band receiver featuring AM, CW, LSB and USB modes. Frequency ranges:  3.4-3.6, 3.6-3.8, 3.8-4, 7-7.2, 7.2-7.4, 14-14.2, 14.2-14.4, 14.8-15, 21-21.2, 21.2-21.4, 21.4-21.6 and 28.5-28.7 MHz. Features include:  S-Meter, Preselector, 100 kHz Crystal Calibrator, Rejection Tuning, AGC OFF/SLO/FST, BFO and Fiduciary Adjust. It has rear panel jacks for:  Anti-Vox Jack, Sidetone Jack, Speaker and Mute.
