Collins Magnum 6, Model RF6DB-C RF Speech Processor 7 Pin Interface Cable in Excellent Condition

This Collins Magnum 6, Model RF6DB-C RF Speech Processor 7 Pin Interface Cable, is in Excellent Condition.

 This is the cable only and is the correct cable for the RF6DB-C unit made for Collins 32S-1, 32S-2, and 32S-3 Transmitters.

 It will also be used with other Magnum 6 units made for other radios that have a 7 pin IF tube.

 There is a link to the manual below that has the pin out you can chevck so it can be changed if desired.

The RF6DB was made in the early 1970s by Communications Technology Group.

The Magnum 6 RF6DB-C is one of the best RF Speech Processors ever made. It has a Collins F 455 FA 21 Mechanical filter just like the SSB filter in the radio.

 The Magnum 6 uses the Collins filter in the unit in conjunction with the same filter in the radio to assure a clean signal while adding 6 DB talk power (a 400% increase!)

This model was specifically designed for use with the Collins KWM-2 or KWM-2A or the 32S-1 / 2 / 3 Transmitter. The 32S series requires an interface cable with a 7 pin socket. This unit has the 7 pin socket.

To use this unit with the KWM-2 and you would have to make up a cable with a 9 pin IF tube socket.

 You rarely find the Magnum 6 in this beautiful condition and usually without the interface cable.
