Description

This RARE Hallicrafters SX-23  Skyrider 23 1939 Vintage Receiver covers .54 to 34 MHz and is in Excellent Condition.

This Beautiful Pre-WWII receiver is very rare to find in  condition with original paint and finish.

I powered this this receiver up with a variac, and tested it on the air and it works.

I briefly checked it on the AM broadcast bands and it receives stations however the receive is not as sensitive as it should be so it wioll need some attention

Because it has the original electrolytic capacitors I did not test it any further.

As with any vintage receiver, it may need an alignment or tube replacement to meet factory specifications but it is working.

I am selling this receiver as is, as described, for a client who has been collecting only the finest Vintage ham radio gear and is selling his collection due to him selling his home.

I am very proficient at packing and shipping vintage tube type gear and I purchase the proper packing materials.    The shipping quote also covers the cost of insurance, Double Wall Boxes and material for safe shipment, and should be close, but if it cost less to ship I will refund the difference.

The buyer assumes the risk for any damage not covered by insurance.

You can save the shipping charges by picking up this item from my location near Green Bay Wisconsin.
