This Hallicrafters SX-28A Super Skyrider General Coverage Communications Receiver in Excellent Condition

 I powered it up and put it on the air and it received on the broadcast bands, and 40 meters. The Volume and sensitivity was down a bit and as with most vintage gear it may be improved with an alignment or tube replacements.

The front panel and cabinet are in beautiful condition and the inside is clean.

This receiver is part of a collection of a client who has been collecting vintage gear for many years and is selling due to having to move.

 I am very proficient packing this type of vintage gear and I purchase the correct Double wall boxes and packing material to assure safe shipment.

 The shipping quote should be close but if it is less I will refund the difference.

Model SX-28 was Hallicrafters' finest receiver during the years 1940-1944. 

During the wartime years, Hallicrafters introduced Model SX-28A, essentially the same receiver with minor modifications in the RF section.
