Heathkit HDP-242 Desk Microphone in Very Good Condition, Matches the SS-9000 & HW-5400 Radios

This Heathkit HDP-242 Desk Microphone, is in Very Good Condition, with only a few tiny marks from normal use.

It is made for the SS-9000, and HW-5400 HF Transceivers, and other Later (and older style) style Radios.

This microphone will work with Radios requiring high or Low impedance microphones so it will work with virtually every rig, new or old.

This is a very high quality Microphone made by the Astatic Company.

This one has been tested and it has excellent sounding audio.  

This one does not have a connector with it but if requested I will supply what you need if I have it.

I will include the 4 page manual with wire diagram.

Heathkit HDP - 242 Microphone manufactured by Astatic Corp. for Heathkit. Is has a molded baige Cycolac case and is described as a cardioid design with a 20db front to back ratio and a frequency response of 150Hz to 15 Khz.

It also features a switch to select high or low impedance. This Microphone was sold by Heath between 1981 and 1984. It weighs about 2 pounds and is about 9 inches tall. It has a push to talk button that can be locked in place.
