Heil Sound ICM Microphones

Heil iCM Microphones are high performance mics specially designed for owners of older ICOM transceivers that exhibit low gain in the microphone amplifier stage. Not cheap electret microphones, the iCMs utilize a high-quality condenser element with a broad frequency response of 35 Hz to 12 kHz, and their high output was crafted for compatibility with the older ICOM transceivers that were made without microphone equalization settings. The iCM microphones were designed in close collaboration with ICOM's engineering team and are housed in a beautiful platinum-finish enclosure, making them ideal for hand-held use or for mounting on a boom or desk stand. The iCMs are shipped with microphone clips compatible with Heil Sound base stands and booms. The iCMs are fitted with an 8 ft. length of Heilwire cable terminated in an 8-pin Foster connector that's wired for the ICOM transceivers. A 1/4 in. inline phone jack accepts PTT input from a foot switch or hand switch.
