This Hickok TV-2C/U Deluxe Tube Tester for Vintage Radio & Audio Gear, is in Excellent Condition Working Great S/N 999

 The tag indicates it was built be the Designers for Industry under the Hickok license.

 This unit comes with the original manual and extra updated tube test data sheets.

This one is in exceptional condition and appears to be working well for the tubes I tested.  I am not an expert with tube testers but all functions seem to be working fine.

 This tube tester is built to military specs and is built to last, even with rough treatment although it looks like it has not seen very hard use.

I am selling is as is as described for a friend who is downsizing as he need room for more gear!

The TV-2 was introduced later than the TV-3 though the original design may have been developed earlier. Intended as a replacement for the Weston OD as a depot-level tester, the TV-2 is probably the most complex tester ever to be called "portable". With six meters and settings for just about everything imaginable, there was little that the 700 could do that the TV-2 cannot.

The TV-2 was designed by Hickok for the US military.  This an impressive looking tester with no less than 5 meters on the front panel.  It takes a little longer to set up than most testers, but should give more accurate results than most testers. Of course, this tester uses the transconductance method for measuring tube quality.  This tester is well suited for the audiophile or antique radio enthusiast.
