This RL Drake TR-4 HF Transceiver with Noise Blanker, is in Excellent Condition & Working.

It is S/N 30057

The Front panel is in great shape with no scratches or marks. The Cabinet is also nice with a few small marks. It is straight and not dented or dinged.

 I tested this unit on on the air and it appears to be working fine with no obvious trouble.

It put out over 200 watts on 80 meters and loaded up okay on all the bands.

The receive sesitivity was excellent, with typical Drake audio.

 I also tested the SSB audio and both LSB and USB soulded great so both SSB filters are good.

 As with most vitage gear, it may be improved with an alignment and tube replacement but it seems to be working fine as it is.

 I am selling it as is, as described due to the age of this transceiver.

The Drake TR-4 is an HF amateur band transceiver covering 160 through 10 meters in seven 600 kHz ranges. Modes include USB, LSB, CW and AM. Input power is 300 watts PEP SSB, 260 watts AM/SSB.
