RL Drake L-75 HF Amplifier Covers 10-160 Meters in Excellent Condition High S/N 173

This vintage Amplifier was made in the 1970s and I tested it and described what I found.

This RL Drake L-75 HF Amplifier Covers 10-160 Meters and is in Excellent Condition.

It has a High S/N 173

Testing this Amplifier, I loaded it up on each band key down and it put out over 800 watts. 

Everything seems to be working as it should with no obvious problems.

  The L-75 looks much like the L-7. It has a single Eimac 3-500Z tube, and the transformer and power supply is built in.

 I will include a reproduction of the manual.

I am selling this Amplifier as is as described, for the family of a silent key.

 I will pull the Transformer as is recommended by RL Drake, and ship it separate and I will also pack the 3-500Z in a separate box. 

 The transformer is easy to reinstall and the wires are color coded and marked where they go.

The shipping cost reflects shipping three packages.

The Drake L-75 provides 1200 watts input on SSB and 1000 watts on CW (50% duty cycle). It covers 160, 80, 40, 20 and 15 meters. This amp employs the Eimac 3-500Z triode. There is a by-pass switch. Power requirements are 115 VAC 50-60 Hz 20 amps or 230 VAC 50-60 Hz 10 amps. The power supply is built in. This amp features a temperature controlled, two speed fan. 13.7 x 6.375 x 14.25 inches 43 lbs.

The L-75 matches the TR-7 series.
