Description
This RL Drake SSR-1 Communications Receiver, is in Excellent Condition.
The SSR-1 receiver was a Wadley loop receiver that was built for Drake in Japan. It incorporates 95% of the Wadley design.
I checked this one on the air and it is working great and has good receive sensitivity.
I did notice that if not used for a while, it takes a minute or two before it powers up after it has been turned on.
I suspect the main power supply capacitor may need to be replaced.
I have not used it on batteries but everything looks to be in great shape including the battery compartment.
It is being sold as is, as described for the family of a silent key who was my friend.
