This Ten-Tec Delta 580 HF Transceiver with, RARE Model 283 Remote VFO, is in Very Good Condition and Working very well.

 This complete station has some rub marks on the sides which have been touched up 

 The ON/OFF switch does not turn off the power supply unless you use a Ten-Tec power supply with that feature. 

 I have a matching Model 280 power supply in another listing.

The TenTec 283 Remote VFO is very cool. It allows you to transmit and receive in split mode but also allows you to listen to both frequencies simultaneously!

So, if you're working a huge pile up you can listen to the DX station and listen to your transmit frequency. This means that you can tune around with the transmitter VFO, looking for the guy the DX is working and then pounce on the frequency as soon as that QSO is finished. What a great feature.

 The Model 283 VFO is in great shape.

 I am selling this station as is, as described, for a friend who has been collection Ten-Tec and other classic and vintage radios.

Due to the age of this gear I cannot guarantee it or accept returns, however I did test it on the air and it appears to all be functioning as it should.

As with most vintage gear, it may be improved with an alignment.

All Items will be packed separately to assure safe shipment. You can save on the shipping costs by picking up this gear at my location in North East Wisconsin.
