This Ten-Tec Model 243 Remote VFO for the Omni Series Transceivers in Very Good Cosmetic Condition and Needs Work.
The TenTec 243 Remote VFO is very rare. It allows six modes of operation outlined in the manual.
The Dial String apprears to need replacement as the pointer does not move and the PTO knob does not move the frequency.
This VFO is analog however when switched to the remote VFO, the display on the radio will read the frequency of the VFO.
I hooked it up to an Omni D and it reads the frequency out on the radio but with the broken dial cord, you can't tune the frequency.
I am selling it as is, as described for parts or repair.
I will include a copy of the manual which has shcematic drawings and service information.
