This Ten-Tec Model 579 Century 22 HF CW Transceiver, with Model 679 Keyer & 226 Calibrator Installed, is in Excellent Condition and working.

 I have been tested it on the air and I found no problems.

The only thing that will need attention is the Dial String, As with most Ten-Tec Analog radios, Part of the dial string is an elastic string that looses elasticity. The dial string is not broken but does not have enough elasticity to pull it all the way back to the left. So the elastic part of the sting assembly will need to be replaced. It does work as it is however the pointer does not go to the lower one third of the dial. 

 This beautiful Radio is super clean.

This excellent CW rig is part of a large Tec-Tec collection I am selling for a friend who is planning to move. He has collected only the finest vintage gear.

 This Radio is being sold as is, as described. The Power Cord and the Original manual (with service information) is included.

Description

Solid state CW only 50 watt input transceiver. Operates on 80, 40, 30, 20, 15, and bottom 500 kHz of 10m band. Full break-in CW, variable band pass audio filter and offset tuning.
