Heathkit DX-60B AM/CW 90 Watt (input) Transmitter 10-80 Meters, in Very Good Condition #1

This Heathkit DX-60B AM/CW 90 Watt (input)  Transmitter covers 10-80 Meters, and is in very good condition.

I tested this rig with an HG-10 VFO on the 80 Meter band, and it powered up okay and put out good power. 

 I did not test it any further than that.

NOTE: This DX-60B has recently had a new Chassis mounted capacitor can installed. 

 This transmitter has been stored for some time in a clean, dry, environment, and is in great shape. 

 The Heathkit DX-60B is a CW and AM transmitter introduced in the 1960s.  It replaced the DX-60 & DX-60A.

Designed for the 80 to 10 meter ham bands, the DX-60B uses a 6146 final RF tube for 90 watts peak power input controlled carrier AM and CW.

The DX-60B has a built in Low Pass Filter, and Grid Block Keying.  The front panel switch selects the external VFO (I have some in other listings) or 4 crystal positions.

The Transmitter has a Controlled Carrier Modulator and power supply built in.

I am selling this transmitter as is, as described for the family of a silent key.

 As with most vintage gear, it may need some attention but does appear to be working as it is.
