Astatic RARE N80 1941 Vintage Microphone in Excellent Condition

Astatic N80 1941 High Impedance Microphone Very Rare Chrome Version, with a Brand new Shure R96 Dynamic Microphone Element installed.

 The Original Crystal element is included but is very weak.

 The Shure R-96 element is a new replacement element for the Shure 526T Series II and is an excellent sounding element.

This N80 is in beautiful condition and with the new element should work for another 83 years!

The N80 was an entry level mic that were used primarily for dispatch and other basic communications. It has a very elegant design and was so popular that Astatic built this as the 10C well into the 1970's I believe. This N-80S was only built and sold for a short time. You don't hardly ever see this model for sale.
