Description

General Electric 100TH / VT-218, (Replacement for the 75TH) 100 Watt High-Mu Power Triode for Amplifiers & Modulators Used Tested #7948

The Date Code on the tube 7948. most consistently decodes to 1949 production (the "79" portion aligns with late-1940s patterns, and "48" as a week or sequence identifier).

This tube is a suitable replacement for the very hard to find 75TH

In the case of a 30K-1 for example, simply lowering the tube socket with 3/8 inch stand offs will allow the 100TH to fit. This is the case for most other transmitters like the BC-610 and Globe King 500s.

This tube has been tested in a Collins 30K-1 at FULL modulation and they perform as they should for New old Stock tubes.

I will guarantee it to be to you satisfaction or your money back.
