NOTE: I only have a small number of these New old Stock 6293 / 6146 Tubes. At some point the original boxes got damp and were not in good shape. The tubes are in new condition. Each tube is in a generic box.
This Tube has been tested on a Dyna-Quick Model 700 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. This tube measures 100 % Grid Emission.

Overview of the 6293 / 6146 Vacuum TubeThe 6293 is a rugged beam power technically a beam power tube designed for high-power pulse modulator applications in military radar, RF transmitters, and industrial equipment from the 1950s–1960s. It's an uprated variant of the 6146 series, featuring a heavier plate construction for handling up to 1 kW pulse input at 3 kV, with an octal base, and internal shielding.
Manufacturers included RCA (most common), Raytheon, Sylvania, National Union, and Tung-Sol. NOS examples are moderately available on the secondary market due to surplus military stock, appealing to ham radio operators, restorers, and collectors for its durability.
This version often outlasts standard 6146s by 5 to 10 times in transmitter service.
