Ten-Tec Model 422-10 (also referred to as the 422-10 Ten Meter Option or 10 Meter Modification Board) is a rare factory-original accessory/modification board for the Ten-Tec Centurion Model 422 linear amplifier (a tube-type HF amp using two 3-500Z tubes, rated for ~1300W SSB / 1000W CW on 160–10 meters when properly equipped). The Centurion was produced in the 1990s (often listed as covering 160–10m in specs, but many early/stock units had the 10-meter band position locked out or lacked full input matching efficiency on 10m due to design/FCC-era restrictions at launch).This board enables or optimizes full 10-meter operation (28–29.7 MHz) by adding proper tuned input circuitry (likely a small ferrite toroid, capacitors, inductors, or matching components on the PC board) to the amplifier's input network.
