This speaker sounds really great and much better than the new replacement 10 inch speakers.

It was removed from a Hallicrafters R-46B and will work very well in any vintage speaker cabinet that requires a 10 inch speaker.

These original vintage speakers have the best sound.

This is the original factory speaker from the Hallicrafters R-46B external speaker cabinet. Cleveland Electronics (Cleveland, Ohio) supplied the 10-inch permanent magnet (PM) dynamic driver used in most R-46B units. It is a classic 1950s-era speaker known for decent audio quality in vintage tube receivers.Because it has been removed from the original cabinet, it is sold as a bare replacement speaker element (cone + magnet + frame).
