Description
Hallicrafters S-78, 1950–1951 Vintage Communications Receiver AM Broadcast & Shortwave Bands
This receiver is in good condition and does work as I was able to tune in AM Broadcast and other band. It will likely need some attention and may be improved with alignment and tube replacement. The huge S-Meter works as well and is very unusual as Hallicrafters receivers usually had round smaller S-Meters,
It is always prudent to replace the electrolytic capacitors before you put it into service'
I am selling it as is, as described. If the shipping quote turns out to be more than the actual cost, I will refund the difference. Pick up can also be arranged. I am in NE Wisconsin.
