Kenwood R-599 Receiver with 6m and 2m Converters, in Excellent Condition

 I tested this receiver on the air and it appears to be working great with no problems.  It is a vintage receiver and am selling it as is. It is always prudent to replace the electrolytic main capacitors before they fail but it is working great as it is.

  I have not tested the 2 meter and 6 meter converters.

 It appears the cabinet has been professionally repainted. I did not realize this till I compared it to another R-599 which was slightly lighter than the black finish on this receiver. It looks factory but I do not think Kenwood made different shades of the dark color they used in the early model which is the R-599.
