RCA Victor T6-1 Tombstone Radio (1935–1936) Vintage Wood Radio Working!

 This T6-1 Variant receives the AM Broadcast and Short Wave Bands. I tested in on AM broadcast and it works. It has not been electrically restored so it should have the capacitors replaced but working gives a great start. 

 The cabinet is in beautiful shape. The dial lens has yellowed a bit but is readable.

 I am selling it as is, as described as photographed. Since it is a taller radio, shipping is a bit expensive but I have been packing vintage gear for 30 years and have the proper cartons for safe shipment.

This is a 6-tube AC superheterodyne tabletop/tombstone radio from RCA Victor, introduced around 1935 for the 1936 model year. It features a wooden cabinet with classic upright "tombstone" styling, AM broadcast band reception (This variant include shortwave), and a 6-tube lineup It was a solid mid-range performer with good sensitivity for the period.
 
 
 serial number 139498 is consistent with mid-1930s RCA production. The radio's working condition on the AM band is a strong plus.
