Description
RL Drake Theta 7000E Data Terminal, As New In Original Box, RTTY CW ASCII Communications Terminal with Monitor
This 7000E appears to be new in the original box with no wear or signs of use and comes with a video monitor which is not a RL Drake monitor.
If you do not want the video monitor, I can keep it and refund the shipping amount for what it will cost to ship it as it has to be shipped separate.
This set comes with the original manual for the 7000E, the power cord which is simply a DC two conductor wire, and an interface cable.
RL Drake Theta 7000E (also known as the Drake Tono Theta 7000E or Tono Theta 7000E Communications Terminal).OverviewThe Drake 7000E is a vintage microprocessor-controlled communications terminal from the early 1980s, designed for amateur radio digital modes. It was a collaboration between R.L. Drake and Tono (Japan). It functions as a complete RTTY/CW/ASCII terminal with a built-in keyboard, demodulator, AFSK modulator, and video output for an external monitor. It was popular among hams for RTTY (Baudot), Morse code (CW), and ASCII operation before personal computers became common for ham radio digital modes.Key Specifications and Features
