Gates Radio (Harris-Gates) Roller Inductor, part 938-0505-001 1.5 to 19.5 uH in Excellent Condition

Authentic vintage Gates Radio (Harris-Gates) roller inductor, part 938-0505-001. Measures approximately 1.5 to 19.5 microhenries.
  Classic olive-drab green frame with brass roller contact and shaft. Ideal for AM broadcast transmitters, antenna tuners, RF matching networks, or ham radio projects.
 The edge wound coil appears to be silver plated with an interior roller.
 
  The shaft is 3/8 inch diameter. I may have an adaptor to convert to 1/4 inch if needed.
   Solid mechanical construction typical of Gates high-power components. Used surplus condition with normal wear; mechanism intact. Approximately 9 inches overall length.
  A genuine piece of broadcast history ready for your station or collection.
