Description
Heathkit HP-23 AC Power Supply with Interface Cord for Many Heathkit Radios, including the HW & SB series. The interface cord with Octal plugs is included.
This power supply is in Excellent Condition.
I Tested this power supply about a year ago with a radio and it work very well with no obvious problems.
It can also be used with other rigs like RL Drake & Collins with rewiring.
As with most vintage power supplies, it would be prudent to replace the original electrolytic capacitors as they are getting quite old.
I am selling it as is, as described.

The HP-23 is an early model (introduced ~1963) in Heathkit’s popular series of heavy-duty AC power supplies for their tube-type amateur radio equipment. It was designed primarily for the HW-12/22/32 Singlebanders, SB-series twins, and similar rigs. The original HP-23 provides all necessary voltages in a compact chassis. The optional upper cabinet (also called a top cover or stand) converts it for standalone desktop use instead of mounting in a speaker.
