Description
Heathkit SB-610 Monitor Scope in Excellent Cosmetic & Working Condition
I tested this Scope on my bench and it has a nice focused trace and a nice "Christmas Tree" Pattern on SSB transmit.
As with most vintage gear, it may be improved with new tubes and it would be prudent to replace the electrolytic capacitors Before they fail, but it appears to be working as it should.
I am selling it as is, as described.
I have been packing and shipping heavy vintage gear for over 30 years and this item with be packed better than any paid packing service.
I will include a nice copy of the manual.
The Heathkit SB-610 is a classic 1960s–1970s station monitor oscilloscope designed for amateur radio operators. It displays transmitted signal quality (envelope patterns), RF trapezoid patterns for linearity checks, AF trapezoid patterns, and receiver IF signals. It helps detect issues like flat-topping, distortion, over-modulation, and improper keying. It matches the SB-series styling (e.g., SB-301/SB-401) with a 3" CRT (3RP1) and works from 160 to 6 meters without tuning or modification.
