These Tubes have been tested on a Dyna-Quick Model 700 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. All NOS tubes I sell measure 100 % Grid Emission.

The Sylvania JAN 6146W is a military-spec (JAN = Joint Army-Navy) ruggedized beam power tetrode. It is a direct replacement for the standard 6146, 6146A, and in most cases functions well as a 6146B equivalent in amateur radio equipment.

These are true New Old Stock (NOS) from Sylvania’s military production. Early JAN 6146W tubes like these are prized by collectors and operators for their build quality and black-plate construction (common in that era). Note that pre-~1964/65 6146W versions were closer to 6146/6146A specs, but late-1960s production (like these) offers improved performance closer to 6146B levels.
