Description
These Tubes have been tested on a Dyna-Quick Model 700 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester. All NOS tubes I sell measure 100 % Grid Emission.
The tube in the photograph is the actual Tube in this listing.
The Sylvania JAN 6146W is a military-spec (JAN = Joint Army-Navy) ruggedized beam power tetrode. It is a direct replacement for the standard 6146, 6146A, and in most cases functions well as a 6146B equivalent in amateur radio equipment.
Key Specifications
- Type: Ruggedized beam power tetrode
- Filament: 6.3 V, 1.25 A
- Plate Dissipation: ~25–35 W (depending on exact variant and service conditions; your 1968–1970 tubes are ruggedized military versions known for reliability)
