Description
RF Parts Taylor Matched Pair of 3-500ZG Power Amplifier Tubes New in the Original Boxes 2010 Date Codes
This pair of Premium RF Parts 3-500ZG tubes were tested when they were received by them from the manufacturing plant in China.
They were purchased new from RF Parts and were never opened or used and are from a highly regarded era of RF Parts quality control.
Tube Information & History
- Design: These are "Taylor" branded tubes with a rugged graphite anode, which is more heat-resistant than older tantalum designs.
- Production Era: These specific tubes were part of the 2009–2015 era when RF Parts maintained tight quality control over their Chinese production lines.
- Last Sold: RF Parts officially listed
Taylor 3-500ZGsas "No products matching the selection" by 2024–2025 as they transitioned to the Penta Labs brand.
RF Parts brands and extensively tests/burns-in these tubes at their facility. They are a popular, cost-effective choice with good reliability reputation for amateur service.
I purchased these tubes myself from RF Parts and requested RF Parts to make sure they were matched and select.
opened the boxes myself and tested them in an HF Amplifier then, and now and each has full emission and working great.
Since I never needed them and they were a spare set to have on hand, I am selling them for my cost.
The RF Parts 3-500ZG is a modern Chinese-manufactured graphite-plate version of the classic 3-500Z high-μ power triode. The "G" denotes the graphite anode, which offers better heat handling and overload tolerance compared to older metal-plate 3-500Z tubes.
